First aid is available at The Blast thanks to our partners at MedStar EMS.

The Blast will take place rain or shine. In the event of severe weather, The Blast Mission Control will communicate any event changes with participants via email and social media.

As official local health guidelines evolve regarding COVID-19 safety protocols, event details are subject to change. Participants will be notified of any changes via email.

Registration is $40 for adults and $25 for children under the age of 12 and includes a t-shirt for each participant.

Register before January 1, 2024 and save! Prices through December 31, 2023 are $35 for adults and $20 for children.

Make an impact with Boost registration! Register at $70 for adults and $40 for children to boost your impact for the patients at Cook Children’s. Boost registrants receive a Blast decal in addition to their t-shirt.

Participants can pick up their t shirt and walk bib at The Blast registration tent on April 6. If you’ve registered as a participant but can’t attend on April 6, email Mission Control at TheBlast@cookchildrens.org.

Yes. Participants may sign up on the morning of April 6 until 10:00 a.m. at the registration table.

No. The Blast is an untimed, family-friendly walk. We encourage participants to reflect and engage with other team members along the walk.

The Blast does not issue refunds for participant registration. If you are unable to attend The Blast on April 6, check out the Event Info tab to learn more about how to participate from wherever you are!

Yes, both are allowed.

Yes, pets of non-aggressive breeds are welcome.
