The members of the Cook Children's Cycling Crew (CCCC) come from many backgrounds. Many are clinical, others are non-clinical, some of are even parents or patients. All come together for the goal of bringing awareness of health, one pedal at a time.
This will mark the 2nd official year CCCC has been around to be part of The Blast. Founded in November 2016, the CCCC has grown to have quite a number to the crew. With every ride a smile and good spirit can be found from those of the crew. Understanding our purpose and what we reflect is key for us.
Being involved in worthwhile event rides, such as The Blast, is simply what we do!
If you cannot ride with us, don't fret! Please know you can still contribute and donate to the event.
The proceeds from this very special event will assist the Neuroblastoma Program at Cook Children’s with clinical research and program development. It is through gifts from the community that we are able to offer children and families fighting neuroblastoma access to the best physicians, technology and treatments available worldwide here in our very own backyard. You are truly creating wings of change in this fight and we are forever grateful. On behalf of The Blast family, the patients we serve and survivors, thank you! A great deal of work comes from donations like yours.
If you would like more information on how or when the CCCC rides, please check out our Facebook page or reach out to firstname.lastname@example.org for more information. The Cook Children's Cycling Crew is opened to all Employees, Volunteers, Patient's, and their family & friends; essentially anyone who has a direct connection with the health care system. We ride to reflect the values of what Cook Children's strives after. Look forward to seeing you on our next ride!
